frequently asked questions

A: Store the acoustic baffles in a clean, sanitary area during the panel shell cleaning procedure. Use a disinfectant wipe (e.g. Clorox DISPATCH™) if needed. Do not launder the acoustic baffles. Do not over saturate. Allow to dry completely prior to re-insertion into the HUSH Curtain® fabric panel.

*Clean-In-Place™ panels have the acoustic inserts completely sewn into the panel. They are not removable and do not require any cleaning.

Q: If I have fabric HUSH Curtain® panels with removable acoustic inserts, how are those cleaned?

Q: How do the HUSH Curtain® Acoustical Privacy Panels Absorb Noise?

A: The patented design of the HUSH Curtain® System consists of acoustical baffles filled with materials that absorb sound energy in a fabric shell. The design reduces the amount of reflective sound energy in a room. HUSH Curtain® panels provide twice the acoustical surfaces as walls or ceiling acoustic panels.

Q: Are the HUSH Curtain® Acoustical Privacy Panels the same as the fabric-only curtains?

A: No. The HUSH Curtain® panels provide both an acoustic barrier as well as a physical partition. HUSH Curtain® is designed to reduce noise. The fabrication of the patented panels includes ten acoustical ‘engines’ and twice the amount of fabric represented in a standard cubicle curtain.

Q: How do I install the curtains once they arrive?

A: The HUSH Curtain® panels easily install on standard cubicle curtain tracks, new or existing. We recommend if using existing track that any worn rollers be replaced and the track lubricated with a silicon spray.

A: HUSH Curtain® panels are offered in standard FR701 and antimicrobial fabrics or in a SURE-CHEK® vinyl laminate. They can also be custom-made based on your specific fabric needs. We are able to use most fabrics that are at least 72” wide and orientated in a non-railroad manner. If you have a fabric in mind, we would be more than happy to look at it and see if it will work with our patented design.

Q: Can I select any fabric I want?
